Have you ever experienced the mesmerizing twinkle of stars in the crisp mountain air?
Picture a magical evening at Todd Lake, Oregon during the summer of 2022, where the Milky Way rises gracefully over Mt. Bachelor. I’m always in awe when the sky turns to night and the stars begin to show.
To capture Under the Stars, I used a photography technique called Star Stacking. 15 images, each taken at a short duration, were captured to prevent the stars from trailing. In the post-processing phase, the images were aligned, resulting in a final image with higher resolution and the removal of non-star elements, such as airplanes and satellites.
